Mark Morin
Mark joined OGN in 2008 to lead the company’s operations organization.
Mark holds a Masters of Engineering degree in Wireless Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo. As a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers, has successfully designed and implemented major wireless networks in Canada and internationally over his 20-year career, working with industry-leading companies Bell Mobility, Motorola, Rogers Wireless and TELUS Mobility. At Motorola, Mr. Morin managed systems engineering for commercial and public-safety radio systems, lead much of the engineering and deployment of Canada’s first digital ESMR network using iDEN technology for Clearnet (now TELUS Mobility) and provided global account management to the Telesystems group of companies, including international ESMR, GSM and UMTS opportunities. At Bell Mobility, he managed RF Engineering in Eastern Canada and more recently helped define and implement new Operational Support Systems for their CDMA-1X / EVDO networks and for the Inukshuk WiMAX network. He has also counseled TELUS Mobility on network planning, engineering and optimization, and provided training, evaluation and coaching of field operations technicians at Westower, Trylon TSF, Bell Mobility, TELUS and Rogers Wireless.
