About OGN

Founded in 2004, OmniGlobe Networks is a Canadian-based, global telecommunications company that provides affordable, satellite and WiMAX broadband Internet, VoIP, tele-education, telemedicine and cellular services to world regions where terrestrial telecommunications are unavailable, unreliable, or simply too expensive.

In 2007, the company acquired UK-based BTIG and its principal subsidiary L-TEQ, thus expanding its capabilities into the enterprise and government markets.  With over 20 years experience in the design, installation and commissioning of satellite earth stations, transportable terminals and VSAT networks, the European headquarters serves as the operations and sales center for OmniGlobe’s expansion into the Middle East and Africa.

Clients

The company has a very diverse and global customer base ranging from the remote First Nations’ communities across Canada to an Internet café in southern Iraq to large scale businesses in the Middle East and domestic consumers in Cyprus.  Its enterprise customers include broadcasters, telecom carriers, Internet Service Providers, corporate groups, government departments and international non-governmental organizations.

Rural Internet Service

Today, OmniGlobe Networks serves as an operator of wireless broadband Internet, delivering much needed service into rural and near-urban markets in central Canada.
