Benoit Fleury
Benoit is responsible for OmniGlobe Networks' Cellular and Mobiliy Services, driving the growth of its business in remote locations across Canada and globally. He is responsible for providing best-in-class satellite broadband services to enterprises operating in remote locations and for delivering cellular solutions and services to remote communities. Benoit also co-manages Lynx Mobility Inc which was formed in partnership with Naskapi Imuun for the delivery of cellular services in Canada.
Benoit brings 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career as a systems engineer at Nortel Networks and progressed to key positions in product line management, test engineering, product development and marketing - all with advanced transmission systems. He was the original product manager for Nortel's successful 2.4 Gb/s product line and also one of the early development directors for Nortel's world-leading 10 Gb/s product. He then expanded his experience with several start-up and mid-size high technology companies in both product management and business development roles at senior levels.
Benoit holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University. He also completed a Marketing Management Program at Duke University in North Carolina.
