Hakim Kahlouche
Dr Hakim Kahlouche joined OmniGlobe in early 2007 and was responsible founding the OGN cellular solution over satellite. He currently leads the company's cellular technology solutions and software development.
Dr Kahlouche holds a PhD degree in computer science and has significant experience in the wireless telecom/datacom industry and software engineering. He worked as Senior Software Developer for several years at Ericsson Canada. As a technical leader and senior developer, Dr Kahlouche successfully delivered innovative core products, like the Ericsson Performance Management Framework, world widely deployed in cellular networks and operation centers. He strongly contributed to the packet data capacity improvement of the Ericsson CDMA2000 BSS as well as to the Ericsson UMTS mobile platform (EMP) using HSDPA/HSUPA.
Prior to Ericsson, he worked for MediaSoft Telecom (acquired by BCE) where he successfully built a generic and high-density communication system that significantly increased the capacity of telephony call servers. He also worked for INRIA (French National Research Center) as Research Engineer in the area of automated protocol testing.
Dr Kahlouche has an Ericsson patent award and several technical publications.
