Microwave Backhaul Network
Bridging the digital divide in under-served areas...
We have developed unique low-cost technologies specifically designed for the areas that cannot be technically or commercially supported by the incumbent operators.
Our solutions, which can be easily deployed in regions where DSL and cable are unavailable, consist of creating wireless ‘hot zones’ that can cover areas up to 30km from the central base station, enabling thousands of subscribers to be linked through a microwave or terrestrial connection to the Internet backbone. In the case of ‘microwave backhaul’, a point-to-point microwave link is established to a local Internet peering point. The signal is linked to each community, where a local wireless network then serves the residents and commercial users, facilitating advanced Internet applications such as web browsing and downloading and supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), video-conferencing and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
