Kuwaiti Technology Luminary Named to Board of Directors of OmniGlobe Netorks
Montreal , QC, Canada – June 15, 2005 – OmniGlobe Networks, a leading innovator and integrator of broadband satellite and wireless access technologies, today announced that Reyad Douglas of Eastern Solutions Limited has joined their Board of Directors. With more than 22 years of marketing and executive management experience in the communications technology industry, Reyad brings progressive insight and expertise to his relationship with OmniGlobe Networks. As General Manager and Partner, Reyad oversees the strategic and tactical evolution of Eastern Solutions’ sales, marketing and growth initiatives.

Previously, Douglas held global responsibilities as Country Senior Officer and General Manager for Alcatel Business Communications Systems, overseeing the regions of Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. In this role, Reyad focused on developing converged voice and data communications systems and applications for enterprises. Prior to relocating to Kuwait and Iraq, Reyad had the role of Managing Director of Business Development unit for Gulf Cooperation Council countries’ markets. He is a graduate of the Chelsea College of Aeronautical Engineering and the Chelsea Management School, Sussex UK. He also received an MBA from Kennedy Western University, Wyoming, USA, where he is now working towards a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Management.
