Reyad Douglas (Director)

With more than 22 years of marketing and executive management experience in the communications technology industry, Reyad brings progressive insight and expertise to his position on the Board of Directors of OmniGlobe.

General Manager

As General Manager and Partner of Eastern Solutions, Reyad oversees the strategic and tactical evolution in Eastern Solutions’ sales, marketing growth initiatives. In his time at the helm of these corporate functions, IP sales have grown from market introduction to the majority of ES product shipments. Reyad’s broad understanding of the technical, business and market realities behind the emergence of IP communications ensures Eastern Solutions’ continued commitment to innovation focused on the end user.

Global Responsibilty

Previously, Reyad held global responsibilities as Country Senior Officer and General Manager for Alcatel Business Communications Systems. In this role, Reyad focused on developing converged voice and data communications systems and applications for enterprises. Prior to relocating to Kuwait and Iraq, Reyad had the role of Managing Director of Business Development for Gulf Co-operation Council countries.

Education

Reyad is a graduate of the Chelsea College of Aeronautical Engineering and the Chelsea Management School, Sussex University, UK, received an MBA from Kennedy Western University, Wyoming, USA, where he is now working towards a Ph.D. degree.

Personal

Reyad is married with four children, eager reader, soccer and tennis player.
